Thin as paper, light as feather. The reinterpretation form of the screen aims to bring together in a contemporary way, two important elements in Chinese culture: golden leaf and the Chinese folding screen by presenting the golden leaf as a standalone entity, and not part as a decorative, strictly aesthetic feature. In this way, the golden leaf is being portrayed as the key element in the interactive space divider. The installation aims to keep the golden leaf foil in its original state, intending to reflect its lightness, by portraying an image of floating in the air.
